FISHING GUIDES

FISHING LICENSE

 You can obtain a fishing license before you arrive on TWRA’s toll free number.  You will need a driver license and credit card.  Everyone 13 or older needs a license.  Ask for a “non resident Norris Lake – no trout” to save you some time and questions.  The phone number is 888-814-8972. NONRESIDENT LICENSES (General Information link to TWRA)

Jr. Hunt/Fish (Type 070) _____ $9.00   (Required for nonresidents ages 13-15, fishing and small game only)

Annual Fishing (Type 076) No trout ___ $41.00
Three-Day Fishing (Type 077) No trout ___ $16.50

Ten-Day Fishing (Type 079) No trout ___ $25.50

One Day fishing (Type 082) No trout ___ $8.00

•Any Tennessee resident born after January 1, 1989 must have in their possession a TWRA-issued card showing proof of successful completion of the TWRA administered boating safety exam if operating alone.
•Persons under 12 years old may not operate a powered boat of more than 8.5 horsepower unless accompanied by an adult who can take immediate control of the vessel.
•If the accompanying adult (18 yrs. or older) is born after January 1, 1989, then he/she must have the boating safety certification card onboard.
•Personal watercraft may not be rented by anyone younger than 16 years of age

 

Trailer Parking

Due to our limited parking space- no boat trailers will be allowed in the lower parking lot. Please take your trailer to the free lot on the top of the hill at our new boat trailer lot & dropped at no charge!  We will provide a lock if necessary. There is a $100 charge for any trailer parked for 2 weeks or more. There will be a $20.00 per day charge for any boat trailer left in the lower lot.

 

Pumping Contracts 2012

Basic contract is $450 for 2 times a month from April 23rd to October 23th.. 2012 Pumping contracts are due April 1, 2012. There is a $50 late charge for payments received after April 1st. The first pump out is schedule for April 23 and thereafter 5/8; 5/22; 6/5; 6/16; 7/3; 7/17; 7/31 8/14; 8/28; 9/11; 9/25; 10/9 10/23;. Emergency pumps are available outside of this schedule at $40.00 per trip and $0.50 per gallon.
